Voluntary take-back of waste

As part of our product responsibility, we take back materials distributed by us after use within the framework of voluntary take-back in accordance with §26 KrwG (Kreislaufwirtschaftsgesetz).

The voluntary take-back also includes a number of hazardous waste materials. For these, we have an exemption that releases you from the obligation to provide evidence as stipulated by the KrwG. However, this exemption only applies to the Federal Republic of Germany. All waste sent to us as part of the voluntary take-back will be reused in the recycling process in accordance with stage 3 of the 5-stage waste hierarchy as per §6 of the KrwG.
