SN100C-SEL
Special alloy for selective soldering
The SN100C-SEL is a nickel-stabilized tin-copper eutectic with additional doping of germanium to permanently reduce the oxidation of the alloy. The SN100C-SEL produces shiny solder joints. The adapted composition allows constant solder bath management and helps to save material. The SN100C-SEL is the preferred solution for the higher process temperatures of selective soldering. By adjusting the nickel content, SN100C-SEL and the copper-reduced SN100Ce-SEL counteract an increase in nickel content caused by a high proportion of ENIG circuit board surfaces.
