the Arnsberg Local Court – Insolvency Court – has opened insolvency proceedings against the assets of Balver Zinn Josef Jost GmbH & Co. KG as planned with the attached order dated 1 February 2026 and appointed Dr Jan Janßen, solicitor, as insolvency administrator.
We are pleased to announce that on February 27 2026, an asset deal was concluded with Thermox Performance Materials GmbH, a member of the AMC Group (Amalgamated Metal Corporation PLC), United Kingdom.
The AMC Group intends to take over the business operations of Balver Zinn Josef Jost GmbH & Co. KG, DE-Balve, Cobar Europe BV, NL-Breda, and Cobar Solder Products, US-Indianapolis.
We are working intensively on the “closing conditions” that are established in such cases and expect the conditions to be fulfilled by April 1, 2026.
Until then, the insolvency administrator will continue to conduct business in full.
There will be no changes for you until the transfer, your existing accounts will remain, and your contact persons will stay the same.
The acquirer will contact you at the appropriate time to discuss all further details about the future cooperation.
