High-purity zinc anodes with a purity of at least 99.99% have been used in corrosion protection in the electroplating industry for over twenty years. Due to the increasing importance of processes and secondary processes (sewage technologies, etc.) that are environmentally friendly, demands on the purity of the metals used has increased. Balver Zinn, therefore, only uses special high-grade zinc Zn 99.995%. To optimise process parameters, zinc alloyed with aluminium can be used to stabilise the anodes. A further special feature of the Balver Zinn range is the diversity of forms available: pellets, hemispheres, balls, billets, cast or rolled plates and special forms are tailored to the specific requirements of our customers.
