SN100CV®
Special alloy for high reliability applications
The bismuth-doped SN100CV® is a nickel-stabilized tin-copper alloy with the addition of germanium to reduce dross formation. It is a silver- and lead-free alloy for applications which requires the highest reliability. The bismuth-related fatigue strength of the alloy is approx. 30% higher than that of SN100C® and it even exceeds that of SAC305. The low copper dissolution of SN100C® alloy is further reduced by the addition of bismuth in SN100CV® it ensures very stable processes with simple process management. The SN100CV® is a patent of NIHON SUPERIOR® with the number JP 5872114 and BALVER ZINN is the first licensee worldwide. The SN100CV® is available as bar, cored wire and solder paste.
